La Aurora S.A., the Dominican Republic's oldest producer of premium cigars, has partnered with Arango Cigar Co. to augment its U.S. distribution. Arango, which is based in Illinois, has taken over distribution for Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Distribution for the rest of the country is handled by La Aurora, USA, a company that launched in April. 'With La Aurora having account representation in the southern region, it was important to establish a partnership in the central region with a like-minded group of individuals founded in family,' said Ed McKenna, CEO of La Aurora, USA.
