Affordable housing projects underway at two former school buildings in Aurora could be finished by January, a city official said. Chris Ragona, Community Development manager in the city's Community Development Division, told the City Council on Tuesday the work at the former Lincoln and Todd schools should be finished by early January 2024, with full leasing of the properties by next spring. The two former West Aurora elementary schools are being remodeled into a total of 47 workforce housing units, a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
