Advocate Aurora Health Care informed its estimated 3 million patients in Wisconsin and Illinois that their information may have been shared with third-party vendors, but the health system told patients it found no evidence of misuse or incidents of fraud stemming from the data breach. Advocate Aurora said that, out of an abundance of caution, it assumes all patients may have been affected if they use an Advocate Aurora Health MyChart account — including the LiveWell app — as well as any patients who used scheduling widgets on Advocate Aurora Health's platforms.
